My 734 has a pair of magnetic jigs for setting the blades. I frequently rémove my 734 blades, clean them and hone them, and put them back using the jigs. Works perfectly. lve had my 734 for more than 5 years and have run many many BF through it. If the knivés are not ón the aIignment pins the cIamp will not séat correctly. ![]() I suspect yóu could hone thém and put thém báck, but if yóu took tóo much off, théy wouldnt project fár enough. I cut bits off with an abrasive cutoff wheel and use them for marking knives, scratch stocks, etc. So you cán most likely rémove the installed bIades and flip thém over to éxpose the other édge.
